The Baby Boy Betta is a juvenile Betta splendens with soft, often pastel coloration, typically in shades of light pink, lavender, pearl white, or pale blue. These young male Bettas are full of energy and potential, with their coloration and personality still developing. Ideal for aquarists who enjoy raising fish and watching them mature, Baby Boy Bettas are both charming and rewarding. Though delicate-looking, they are hardy and intelligent, thriving with proper care in a well-maintained aquarium. A varied diet of high-quality Betta pellets, frozen or live foods such as Bloodworms, Brine shrimp, and Daphnia is ideal for their continued health. A gentle filter is recommended and be sure to prevent strong currents for this Betta. With proper care, the Baby Boy Betta can live 2-4 years, serving as a stunning and mesmerizing aquatic pet.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.
If we need to contact you for any reason about your order, shipping of your package may be affected. Once your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email with your order summary. Orders are subject to verification of payment information by phone or email.

My betta is a baby boy (4monthold) When I first got him he was red with white. 2 months ago his growing fins began becoming blue. Abt 3 weeks ago I see that he began losing his color a bit& began becoming kind of transparent, so I took the water to get checked& the water was good but the store couldnt check for ammonia cause they had ran out of that test(water has conditioner). Last night I notice that he started getting a shiny silver color on 1side of mouth& in gill. But he is acting normal
My male Betta fish isn’t moving
I just purchased a baby male betta fish, can I put him in the same 2.5 gallon tank as my female, but with a divider?
I recently got a baby boy betta, but he won't eat his food although the baby girl betta next to him behind the divider would. What should I do, and should I be worried?
what kind of fish are these? and would they be good with a male betta
Hello! My pet male betta, Mr. Bubbles is rather small and doesn't seem to be getting any bigger. He also tends to stay under my plant in his bowl and tends to float to the top quite a bit. He's healthy otherwise. He's a picky eater too. I'm feeding him Bette Bits and freeze dried blood worms. Sometimes he doesn't even eat it or eats it then blows the pellet out. I've had him for close to 6 months.
I bought a betta fish at petco on Sunday. He seemed good, until today. I came home from work and I see he started making nest bubbles, but his fins suddenly look clumped and he has white and blue on his body. He looks sick. I don't know what it is and how to help him. He is in a 3.7 gallon tank alone. I put conditioner and biological booster in the tank. There is a filter and thermometer is reading 80 degrees. I have given him food pellets and he tries to eat, but spits it out. He was all red.
where do you buy show quality bettas
Betta fish has ick near its eye
I am not able to ID my fish. It seems to belong to the family of snakehead bettas. But it is yellow in colour. They belly is a shimmering yellow gradually getting duller towards the tail. the tail and fins are yellow with red borders. Its eyes are blue. It seems to be enjoying staying at the top most of the time. Its not aggressive. Please help me ID my fish
He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.
Hi, i have recently (as in today) got a betta fish and was hoping to get another betta, i only have a simple half gallon bowl for the fish and was wondering if there was a way to easily find a surefire friend for him without them fighting or being aggressive to each other
