- Acrylic aquarium - Acrylic is 10 times stronger and 23% clearer than glass. Acrylic is also a good insulator, so you don't lose as much heat as you would with a glass aquarium

- 5-step Filtration - Ensures clear, healthy water with biological, mechanical, and chemical filtration, water stabilization and oxygenation. Filter Cartridge - Fitted at the bottom of the aquarium, because that is where most of the fish waste goes
- Ceramic media - Surrounds the filter cartridge at the bottom of the aquarium. Over time their honeycomb structure is populated with good bacteria that neutralizes ammonia and nitrates from the fish

Please refrain from using any spherical tank for your fish, these tanks cause constant stress on your gilled friends by tricking them into constantly swimming for survival at the risk of a predator around the bend.

I bought two of these Baby biOrb tanks. They look beautiful, and do have a powerful filter. Easy to keep clean. One major issue we've had though is the light on the hood on one of the tanks slowly took on water from the splash of the filter. The light lasted just three months. Petco would not replace and referred us to BiOrb. The BiOrb company referred us to Petco. No replacement lights for sale online at either of their sites. Beware. We are still searching for a way to light up the tank...
