Great price and arrived fast. Clean seed with very, very few sticks. My birds love it especially the Titmice and Nuthatches and the Starlings don't.

The seed is good. Would feel better about the purchase if the bag material was readily recyclable. Number 7 is not.

I read the reviews that others' birds did not tend to care so much for this seed. I prefer to offer only Safflower seed as I am not interested in feeding all walks of wildlife (namely the squirrels and the disastrous black birds). My usual Safflower seed had gone up in price and thanks to this fantastic economy, I could not spare the extra dollars anymore. So I found this product. Finding large quantities of Safflower Seed for a reasonable price is certainly a task. When I received this seed, just as I would with new cat food, I mixed this seed with my old seed (which was well liked), for at least a week or until the old was diminished. Frequency of consumption did decrease for a bit but now it's at the same level as it always was. But as the other reviewer said, this is no longer a bargain price. Compared to my other seed, it is the same in price but since it's easier to get the other seed locally (and I had a new customer coupon), I went back to my old seed. But I would purchase this seed again if necessary.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Huge price increase and I am on repeat delivery, lucky I noticed the change in price from $26.41 to $39.89...thats a 150% increase! And something about this seed that birds don't eat it. Not sure why but I hardly refill the feeders now. Something is definitely wrong, check out the other reviews that mention the same thing.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Birds like it despite odor from bag

Tomnotcat

Cardinals and others seem to like it. I was worried when I first opened as it had a strong odor that I do not recognize and did not experience with another brand but price had become ridiculous on the other so I subscribed to this seed from Petco (40lbs) nearly 3 months ago even though there were bad reviews. I am about to get 2nd shipment and the birds munch all day with no complaints (lol). If this ever changes I will certainly say so here. 5 stars when odor disappears. Thanks.

Our birds LOVE it - and the squirrels don't!

Thank you for a wonderful product at a GOOD price (less than anywhere else I have checked). The safflower seed is attractive to cardinals and many small birds, including finches. Very important to us - squirrels take one look at it and run! We had so much trouble with squirrels at our house in the country so we had to stop offering any other kind of seed - just Audubon Park Safflower See - made in the USA!

Yes, I recommend this product.
