So my puppy River loves to stand in her water bowl when she drinks and also loves to purposely dump it over. Is there a value in weighing water like food?
Should I purchase a water fountain for my dog? She does drink on her own several times a day. But that sounds like a good idea. Does it really encourage them to drink more water? Is it easy to clean? I found him on a vacant lot and had to bottle feed him for about two weeks. He's now about 8 weeks old and already eating solids, but he hasn't learned to drink from a bowl. I tried using bowls of different sizes, put water on the ground, wet his lips, placed him next to a faucet, etc, but he still won't drink. By night, he's so thirsty that he'll suck at my fingers, I'll end up giving him the bottle. He has no issues eating food mixed with water, but how can I get him to drink from a bowl?
4 month old medium breed puppy (American bulldog, boxer mix) swallowed end of a mini cupcake silicon spoon. About 1 inch in length and half inch wide. Induced vomiting at the emergency vet was not successful.
