How do you clean this if the top is screwed on?
- You can hose it out from the door opening or unscrew the 4 screws holding the roof and remove it for cleaning.

Will a 80 lb Bassett hound fit in this dog house?
- Truly I think this might be better for a smaller dog. I use it for my outdoor cats, and while there are some blankets in there that make it appear smaller than it is. I can’t imagine an 80lb dog fitting.

He seems to want to live inside, but that isn’t a possibility in my current situation. Is an insulated dog house, with cedar chips, sufficient to protect him from the elements?

Hi I have a Siberian Husky. He’s 1 yr and he has always slept inside, until I finally got him a big, well-made dog house and now it’s his 3rd night sleeping outside. So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel.
