Are the sisal posts made of cardboard or wood?
- The sisal post is made of sisal rope on the outside, and the tube is made of strong cardboard. We haven't had any issues with broken tubes.

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?

I am going to purchase a cat bed for my cat soon, I wanted to take a proffesional's advise on where to place my cat bed (please look at attached photos). My cat's favourite place to nap and relax is either the bed or the cat tree, recently the bed more. When shes not napping, she spends time at the kitchen window watching birds and people walking. I have about 75 cats(joke), nine inside. I know... all neutered. one outside 99%-neutered. Steven, out, comes in only bad weather cause Bruce, bully, and Charlotte, bully, all want to jump him. problem, I think is territory. Bruce pees in my room CONSTANTLY. idiot Charlotte pees DIRECTLY on my pine paneling...LIKE A BOY!!! I put that cat per remover stuff out constantly. they are rotting my bedroom floor and the ammonia smell is like toxic fumes. please help me

I'm making a wood finish for cat furniture and I'm wondering if there is anything all natural I can add to discourage chewing. An essential oil maybe, or are they all potentially toxic?
