Cat tree is not "real wood", it is pressed wood. The bottom piece came with a large crack in it. It was poorly packed and it cracked because it is pressed wood and not real wood. I have 2 other Armarket Cat trees and both are real wood. I am very happy with my 2 other trees and VERY disappointed in the quality of this one.

I've only had this tree for five days at this point, but I had a very easy time setting it up. My cat really likes the cubby hole, but hasn't tried the floors above. She's getting older and is a little overweight (which is something we are working on) though, so this is expected. You may want to anchor it to the wall if your cat flies up and down it, but really just watch how they interact with it to see if additional safety measures are necessary.

The tree was easy to assemble and doesn't have a huge footprint. I have 2 cats (one is 15 pounds, the other 11 pounds) and the tree is extremely sturdy...it hasn't swayed at all with all of the jumping on and off of it. And the dark brown fabric is so much better for hiding dirt.

Love it! I prefer the darker color over the typical off white because both of my cats have dark fur that eventually gets embedded and make the trees look dirty. This was easy to assemble and it’s sturdy. The only downside is the holes for the cats to jump through and the little cave area are small. My 8 pound cat fits perfectly, but I can’t say the same and for my 17 pound cat!

Easy to put together. All 5 cats are loving it. Would buy again

My cat loves this tree, she instantly jumped on it and started playing! She’s about 12 pounds and it’s the perfect size for her!
