Questions
Is this made with carpeting or plush material? My tripod kitty needs carpet that she can sink her claws into to climb onto things. Plush will not work with her!
- The material is plush but this cat tree is so amazing I have been purchasing the same one for 11 years and currently have 2 backups in storage because I’m afraid they may stop making them.

are there staples holding the material to the platforms/ and if so do they show, where my cat can be scratched by any?
- We have not seen staples picking out. We had tree almost a year with 3 cats and it holding well. There are heads of the screws that hold posts and on top of carpet but cats have no problem with them.

We have two fairly large cats, both over 20lbs. Are the perches large? The one we have now, she is flowing over the edges and getting really bad mats from it.

- As with most cat furniture - pretty sure it's compressed paper. The same sort of thing used as one time concrete molds. At this price point, it really couldn't be anything else. We have a similar cat tree and my very strong, 17 lb cat, has compressed the sisal enough, that the underlaying material is readily seen

Are the flat landing areas and 3 top beds padded at all? Does the beige material shed?
- The top beds are not padded, but they are lined in faux fir. This cat tree doesn't shed at all. I found it fairly easy to put together. Amarkat is the best!

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
I am building my cat a cat tree, using a branch from a tree for part of it. My question is is there anything I can use on the wood, or the branch that would be cat safe? I mean in terms of stain, or sealer, or varnish, etc. Any recommendations of cat friendly products, to seal or preserve the pieces of the cat tree, would be dearly appreciated!

My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?

I have been trying oko cat dust free paper for my asthmatic cat and it is good on not having dust but the litter itself has a natural odor to it to me like burning wood, is this harmful for my cats to smell. I have tried yestersdays new in the past and found it bad on covering ammonia. Oko cat covers ammonia but that burnong wood smells is overwhelming to me so isnt to them....so I switch back to yesterdays new???? Any ideas

I am going to purchase a cat bed for my cat soon, I wanted to take a proffesional's advise on where to place my cat bed (please look at attached photos). My cat's favourite place to nap and relax is either the bed or the cat tree, recently the bed more. When shes not napping, she spends time at the kitchen window watching birds and people walking. Otherwise she's playing and running around with her toys.

I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
