I have had this mat for maybe 2 months now? In the beginning it seemed to work ok, but then it just started to suck. The mat itself does not stay cool. In fact it gets beyond hot to the point where my dogs paw-pads became irritated by it, he would not lay on it, and it just became an extra uneeded object. The mat now has 3 tears thats causing the “fluid” inside to leak. Its a crappy mat and now i’ve lost out on $55-60 I spent on it….

Although I have no personal use of this item, my dog does appear to have a better, cooler environment in which to sleep. I am glad I bought it for her. She does not move around as much or rattle her crate trying to find a more comfortable spot.

This mat is so much better than the old ones that needed to be filled with water and were heavy and cumbersome. This is lightweight and easy to move, but works like a charm. My chronically warm Akita puppy absolutely LOVES his crate with this mat in it. It's easy to clean, it clearly stays cool (because he's always looking for the coldest spot in the house), and we've had no problem with those sharp puppy nails causing any damage. I'm so glad I bought it!

I couldn't be happier, and I Am astonished how big it is! I have a Bernese mountain dog 145# hes so big, everything is too small, but this is perfect thank you!

My 11 yr. old boxer pants terrible, when he's hot. It took about 5 minutes for him to realize, the cooling mat was a great benefit to him. He stops panting within 5 minutes of laying on it. The mat is always his go to spot!

Will this mat leak from dogs nails

The cover is pretty strong, so I don’t think you need to worry about nails puncturing it. But even if they do, the gel won’t leak out. It’s solid as opposed to liquidy. Think Jell-O instead of hair gel. :)

how durable is the matt months /years and will it work on concreate outdoors in 100 plus temps?

Idk, I had mine for about 2 week. Lightly used. I think my guys laid on it 6 times. Already have a tear in it and it is leaking. Not impressed.
