Hi.. I got Mini completely groomed yesterday.. She was on Anasthesia of 1.2 ml.. She was fine till evening, but now her body temperature is high.. My mini foxie has injured his paw pad, he has a small (a quartrer to half a cm in diameter) circular area where the external layer has been worn away and left a pink, raw section. It is not bleeding but looks painful. What should I do to treat this injury? I have disinfected the paw with betadine and wrapped it with gauze and an adhesive bandage but he keeps trying to take it off... Is there anything else I should be doing? My mum thinks I am overreacting and that I have already gone overboard.
Is there anything I can do to keep my dog comfortable in the heat? He has lar par and gets agitated when it’s very hot! Please help me, he is my Service Dog, I love him dearly and want to help make him comfortable! Thank you!
