The Arcadia Reptile ProT5 UV-B Kit consists of high quality electronics, a highly effective but removable reflector and High Output T5 UVB lamp. This easy to use Kit can be fixed easily inside a tank, rested upon a wire meshed glassed terrarium or even hung within an enclosure (where safe to do so). Its sleek design and specially curved reflector will ensure that you use less space but project as much light forward as possible. The Kit also includes a link cable allowing multiple units to be powered from a suitable single power source. The ProT5Kit reflector has 2 angles of reflection from the side of each curve projecting high levels of UV rich light directly beneath the unit at around 12"/30cm to create a basking zone but then also provides a wide flood as light spreads out over distance. This will allow you to create a suitable UV-B provision for any species and over a suitably wide area. The Arcadia Reptile ProT5Kit includes our high quality, German made UV-B 12% UV-B D3+ lamp.

I have a 20 gallon tank for my bearded dragon and I just need to know how many watts of UVB do I need
Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
Is my set up ok for my beardie and I’m thinking of getting a background picture to add. I have a uvb light, a baskin lamp, a ceramic heat emmiter for night, a thermostat and two thermometers one on each side
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
Hes hanging out closer to the bottom and hes also lays down with all his legs out but 1. I'm thinking MBD but hes in a screen enclosure, 2 uvb 5.0 bulbs. 1 heat. Crickets always get dusted. He gets plenty of water, and horned worms, plus super worms. Idk what do to I dont want to lose him. I use a multi vitamin aswell.
If my juvenile slider turtle tank is next to a window, is UBV lighting nessesarry? (This is a wild turtle). And if it is a must, how long can they go without a UBV? (I'm am sending pics so you can see how far the tank is from the window, if you need it)
Is my set up for my bearded dragon good? (See attachment)
Since full spectrum growl lights for plants are supposed to mimic natural sunlight (is that correct?) then can I use that for my green anole lizard glass cage and save all that cost for a uvb light? I also have a heating pad for my back I could put under it if need be...?
Ok so I know Loki needs 10 to 12 hrs under a uvb light but how long would he need in natural sunlight? Is it the same amount of time or do I cut in half because he is getting natural uvb? And do they still receive uvb rays in the shade? I have his cage setup where he gets morning light nd evening light nd some shade in between.
Fancy leopard geckos need light. If I keep the red light on 24/7 as directed by, what should the temperature be?
My turtle shell has some brown spots and some of he corners of his scutes are brown and peeling. His lines on his shell are also brown. He does have a uvb and heat lamp.
Hi! We recently got a juvenile bearded dragon and I just want to make sure i’m doing enough for them. unsure of age or sex. Attached are photos of the dimensions of their enclosure, as well as the description of the bulb we are using. I leave a bowl of water in her enclosure as well as let her soak once a week (the water is conditioned with repti-safe). we feed her crickets daily and she always has a bowl of fresh veg available. (ALL food dusted with calcium/vitamin D3 supplement)
