It got my tank perfectly! I was worried it wouldn’t. the plastics backing was too hard to cut so I just didn't attach it. it works great for my monstera deliciosa.

Does the job and looks decent on the Aqueon rimless tank but had to knock off some stars for the facts that many others have noted. The hinge blocks a great deal of light and would have been much better if it had been made with a clear or translucent material.
Knocked off more stars for the very false claim the listing makes that the vinyl strip for the back is easy to cut openings into. Having attempted to cut this thing with a variety of tools (including a pipe saw), the only thing that would make the job somewhat easy would be the use of power tools which not everyone has at their disposal and still would result in the flimsy vinyl getting roughed up and gaining more crevices to worry about keeping clean.
Was tempted to knock off one more star for mine coming with part of the handle snapped off but that one is a personal qualm and not an overall issue with the design itself.

Can I get replacements for the plastic extensions? I changed the configuration of my tanks to use sponge filters instead of HOB. Plastic pieces have cutouts that I don't need now.

How wide is the glass, is it 10" plus the 2" plastic piece, or 10" including the 2" plastic piece?
- There are two pieces of glass which are approx. 19 3/4" long x 3 3/4" wide. There is a "hinge" between the glass which is approx. 1" wide. The plastic piece is approx. 2" wide.

What can I use on my ten gallon rimless
- The Aqueon hinged glass top is made to go with the Aqueon tanks. I believe the the rimless tanks have tabs to hold up the glass lids.

Will this work on a 10 gallon for dart frogs. is there any gaps, i need a full seal for the frogs
- So for one, a 10 gallon aquarium is really small for DartFrogs. 10 gallons per dartfrog is the starting point. A 24“ x 18“ front opening to 36“ x 18“ is traditional for DartFrogs. Regarding the top they have “ventilation” as stated by aqueon, the sides have a gap and some tops are a quarter of inch too short Covering the back. As is they would need a lot of work to make secure, additionally vents would need to be cut in the plastic and fiberglass mesh glued to it to allow for ventilation.

- Any piece of glass can be substituted at any time to meet manufacturing demands. We do not recommend cutting or modifying this product in anyway. If you are in need of a custom fit, please work through your Aqueon retailer.

My tank is a ten gallon, 10"(D) x 20"(W). Would this Aqueon Versa Hinged Glass Aquarium Top 20 fit on the inside lip of the of the tank which is 9¾" x 19¾ or would it just sit loose on the top?
- Yes. I have it on a 10 gallon tank.

can u put a hong on back filter with this
- It is possible. A portion of the top is plastic, so you would just cut away to section that you need to accommodate the HOB filter.
