Will this fit the top fin 40 gallon aquarium the exact dimensions are 35in by 14 7/8in? I cannot find one anywhere!!!
- No, the glass top measurements are 17 1/8 x 35“. Thus if the depth of your tank is 14 7/8 inches, it will not fit.

How wide is the plastic strip? My aquarium is just under 16.75" wide and I need to make sure this will fit (or can be made to fit).
Is there a way to buy the plastic piece separately? Mine accidently got thrown out. I don't want any snails to escape.
