I hate this and can’t even use it this thing doesn’t come with the bottom half to plug into the wall

Just bought this late today and hooked it up it looks beautiful in my fish tank. The only problem is I wanted to take the clip off and use the suction cups and I cannot get the clip off at all.

I got this light with my first aquarium set up. My kids wanted glow fish and the woman at the store told me the black light is what brings out the color so I got one and it works fine. It does what it’s supposed to do. I did notice however, that while I had the light on the fish were not very active, and when I would turn it off, they would come out more. Eventually, I disconnected the black light and use the standard light that came with my aquarium top and the fish were very active. It’s my opinion they don’t really like the black light. Well, it does what it’s supposed to do. The fish did not seem to like it, so I stopped using it.

I have a JBJ 12G nano cube. The stock led lights are just On/Off with no programming or moonlight feature. All I wanted was an extra simple small blue light to give my aquarium a PM night moonlight feature for the fish so it just was not LIGHTS OUT. This 8” clips onto the back lip nicely and securely. The cord easily feed out the back and the bulb fits into the bracket. You can swivel the bulb in the bracket towards the display area. It does the job Nicely. CONNS you just get the bulb, bracket and cord as this is an add-on light. Make sure you are buying the complete set with the transformer plug or the one with the splitter where you can add 3 lights. I was lucky I had an extra plug that fit this. You can use a timer for on/off or a controller to program. Either way you won’t need to plug in /out to turn on off.

I got this for a tank I have without a top lid. The LEDs lasted all of 2 weeks before half of them went out. I've never had an LED light go out before. Had to return.

Our original top for our glow fish tank somehow burned out and we were unable to use/fix it. Before buying a whole new top (very expensive) I researched just purchasing the light bars and was delighted to find this one very inexpensively at Petco-and it works great!!!!
