Took Months to realize the tank was slowly leaking... The (Tiny) leak was originally assumed as evaporation due to top being open, and the house running dehumidifiers all winter. As time went on, apparently the slow leak started to become something a little more. 6 months of successful Nano-Tank effort, and the tank must be taken down..#!^&$$ Can't wait to see the damage it caused to the stand and flooring below. 100%dud

just got mine from petco today. to be fair I probably should’ve done a drip test. but I put sand, live plants, rocks, and a decoration in there only to find out after filling it that it leaks. don’t have my receipt anymore but would appreciate any help!

Yip... Seems these 2.5G are NOT sea worthy. 6 month+ Awesome Nano Tank will be taken down, and can't wait to see the water damage to the $600 hutch below. Never, Never, Never again TRUST..! $10.00 or $1000.00 TEST the tanks ability to hold (And Maintain) water! Sold as a Fish Tank.. No OEM testing or certification stating it will hold water?

Is this tank suitable for a betta fish to live in?

Bettas need a MINIMUM of 5 gallons, this would be more suitable maybe for shrimp or snails. I wouldn't recommend it for anything other than small invertebrates or as a quarantine tank.
