not good at all I called you guys a couple months ago because your door they wouldn’t let me shop they were closing an hour early so I called corporate corporate said they should not be closing early so you guys sent me a $25 gift card I spent about half and when I went to use the other half it was no longer there

Are you supposed to include a sponge or just the filter cartridge? Seems like I have to rinse and replace these a few times a week for one betta. Am I doing something wrong?

The outer layer of the cartridge is the sponge. You change the filter lad/cartridge once a month. If its getting dirty too fast, you may be overfeeding

When do we change the filter?

5 years ago
It depends on how many fish and plants you have, as well as what species. If they have a high bioload you may have to change as often as weekly, or much longer (a month) with artificial plants and low bioload species
