I can’t turn on and off the light with the touch button when it’s on usb. It can be turned on only if I take off the top of the battery compartment and poke the inside. Am I missing something?

would this be able to latch onto a bowl? I am thinking about getting it for my 3 gallon shrimp bowl.
- I will work if the bowl has a straight side of more then 3 inches. This filter is 3 inches wide and it's straight.

I recently bought this light. Is there anyway for it to not be on a timer. I use it with batteries and not the USB. It turns off after just a couple of hours, and I would like it to be on all day
- Hi there! If you want to bypass the timer feature, you cannot use the battery. If you do not want the timer, you simply need to use the included USB cord.

Hey! I have a empty 5.5 and I planned on getting a baby betta the brand is Topfin. and I was just curious about the filter on it and if you think it would be to tough and blow the betta around or suck it into the filter. Why does my Betta fish have lines on his gills?

I have a question about our betta fish. He seems to be hanging at the top of the tank, not moving much. We have a heater and the tank is at the right temp. He only started doing this the last couple of days. He isn't really eating or moving around. Just sitting high up at the top of the tank.
He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.
