HELP I am experiencing a cloudy tank after using in my 2 month old 5 gallon planted betta tank. I used the correct amount

Free-floating bacteria and other microbes take advantage of minerals and nutrients in the water and begin to multiply unchecked - thus causing the cloudiness. The situation is sometimes compounded and exacerbated when hobbyists add too many fish all at once and/or feed too much, providing these microbes with an additional food source. Very often, the best solution is to do nothing and to let nature take its course! Hope you find this information helpful! I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days. I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?

My new glofish shark has long, white, stringy poop hanging off its body. I may have overfed him his glofish flakes. Is he constipated or stressed from being in a new tank? I treated the water with Aqua SafeStart and EasyBalance. What can I do to get him to poop?
My betta has fin rot. It became lethargic a few days before I could see the fin rot. It hardly eats. Is something else wrong too? I treat for fin rot, because that is what I can see, and change 30% water twice a week. I had it for 6 months. It lives in alone in a cycled 5,2 US gallon tank with many plants. It came down with whatever is wrong with it because I used equipment used to handle a sick fish that later died for my betta tank too. Stupid me. Can I do anything more?
