[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I know Aqueon to be a reputable company and was eager to get the opportunity to review some of their products. Personally, when it comes to fishtank, I prefer to have a lid on the tank due to having young children. While this 10 gallon tank filter is well made, easy to clean, and quiet, I was unable to keep the lid on my tank when in use due to the design of resting on the lip of the tank. I also prefer a heater that gives me more thermostat control over the temperature. An adjustable thermostat gives you more options for the breed of fish you can safely have. My fish did well with the water conditioner, and my chemicals levels were all in well desired ranges. I do wish the sample of water conditioner was provided in a bottle versus a one-time use envelope. The net was pretty generic, and the stick on thermometer isn't my favorite. The fish seemed to enjoy the food just as well as their typical food. Overall, it is a good quality product, but nothing super impressive.
