I got my baby male Betta fish yesterday, I got a few others as well, they are all in the containers they came in seeing as the counter worker told me they could be untill they got bigger, My Male isnt eating the bloodworms in his tank. Im worried, I fed him three times, when I got home from the store, this morning and tonight, there are still pellets in there! Is it caused by stress? How can I save my little Dustin!
Best foods for 29gallon tank with 4Rosaline Sharks, 4Congo Tetras, 1large bushy nosed plecostamus. Vitamins?
1 of 2 goldfish has been upside down and struggling..been doing this off n on for 4 mos but has been consistently upside down for 2 days now..was advised to not feed for 3 days...this has worked before but not now..I soak the flakes before feeding .. did a water change this morning..I don't see anything on his skin..have had him for 3 years using same wellwater, no chlorine..other fish seems fine..What can I do?
Hi, I'm going to change my kittens dry food because he doesn't gain weight on that product. Probably I should do it gradually up to 7 to 10 days. But Oliver's old food stock is not enough to reach 7 to 10 days, only 4 days. And I don't want to buy another bag just to reach 7 days. So, is it okay just only 4 days to feed him gradually?
I have a male beta fish that will not eat (or at least I haven’t seen him eat). I got him 5 days ago. He’s in a 1 gallon bowl. I got him the recommended beta pellets but he can’t seem to get them to stay down. He gets excited when I feed him but when he goes for the pellet, he holds it in between his lips then spits it out. The pellets end up sinking after a while and that’s when he grazes the bottom. I think that’s how he’s getting his food but i’m not 100% sure. How can I get him to eat?
My betta fish is not eating and we are noticing a change in he color. We feed her Aqueon Betta Food and she ate it for her first month but now she will put the food and either chew it up and spit out the food, or she will spit it out whole. We know that it takes two weeks for bettas to stave to death but we don’t know what is wrong. we removed the rocks from the bottom of the tank so she could eat the food off the floor of the tank if she got hungry. Below i’ll attach a before and after photo.
I need some help with my beta fish! So, I feed him every morning and a few flakes at night. During the day it looks as he's looking for food at the bottom of the tank. But when I give him the few flakes at night, He "eats" them and spits the flakes right back out! What is wrong with him?
My Betta fish keeps spitting out its food. I feed it "XL color granules" mixed with "color flakes" its tank mate is a molly. I heard you can get bloodworms and soak them in garlic guard and they will eat it. Is this true? Thank you. -Cristina
Trying to treat betta for Popeye otherwise healthy happy and active. Moved from five to three gallon filtered heated tanks. Feed freeze dried blood worms, daphnia and bug bites by fluval. Also am changing some if not all water every few days. Treated with kanaplex several doses no real improvement. Switzed to metroplex in water treatment as I don't know how food treatment works or how to dose started four doses two days apart and there is some improvement to the eyes. Med is miconidazole.
Hello. Can I feed a figure 8 pufferfish live or dead meal worms? Or frozen thawed tilapia? Live feeder fish? Ghost shrimp? Thanks!
Hi. I have been told by some people to feed the goldfish three times a day others say once every two days please help me I don’t want to over feed them. Thank you
I recently got my goldfish (very small) and I put him in a 5 gallon tank (new tank with conditioned water and filter). He swims around very fast and up and down the tank walls. When I feed him flakes, he chews really quickly and then spits it out. I can’t tell if he actually eats anything. The ammonia levels are a little high (3.0) so I put in some ammonia fixer. All the other tests seem normal. Is there anything else I can do?
