Great customer service from the manufacturer

I recently purchased this stand from Petco and when I opened the box there was no hardware. I contacted the manufacturer and they could not have responded better. They immediately shipped the correct hardware to me via Fedex, no questions asked. A real pleasure dealing with Charles at the Marco Group.

Yes, I recommend this product.

The good....I bought it on sale so I didn't pay full price. Also the door opening is fairly wide allowing for easier access if you use a canister filter. The included shelf is a nice add-on. The bad....it's particle board. Thin particle board. The top & bottom are 2 separate pieces held together wtih 2" square metal plates. These plates are screwed to the halves to keep make the main length. The uprights are held in with plastic brackets. The screws will strip right out of the particle board if you inadvertantly bump it while the top and bottom are not on the unit. I had to add metal L brackets to sturdy this up. I seriously doubt it's ability to be shimmed to compensate for an uneven floor. There is a gap between the front and side panels so they are not tied together even though the pictures seem to make it look like they are. I used L brackets here as well to tie them together. Going off the quality, I'm going to replace this stand the first chance I get.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I was reluctant to buy this product because it had no reviews, but it's great! Came in great condition. Its really heavy so you may need extra help. The material is like pressed wood but it is surprisingly very sturdy. I've had these kinds of stands in the past and they still great if your on a budget like me. I filled my 75G tank on this stand and it held up amazingly, this thing is going nowhere! My only issue is that they forgot one screw, luckily I had an extra on hand, which is why it's only 4 stars.

Yes, I recommend this product.
