[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are perfect accents to my rainbow gravel substrate. They don't float. I am enjoying the sparkle they give off. I have them in my shrimp tank so in order to add surface area for algae to grow, which the shrimp eat.

The colors are a bold pink and soft tone of pink, which together looks really nice as an accent color in our 55 gallon tank. I'm not a fan of how lightweight the gavel is, but this could also be a positive since our tank holds enough weight already. I love how they sink and stay on the bottom [they don't float up, but they do move with water movement]. I absolutely adore how our blue bubble string light affects the color of the jewels - turns them sort of purple. The fish don't mind them! (:

I like that there are enough in each bag to use small amounts to make your gravel floor pop. They are not heavy so do not add extra weight to your tank floor even though they are larger sized, each about the size of top of my .thumb
