I buy the pouches for the limited ingredients; can you tell me why there is rice in the cans but not the pouches?
- Yeah I noticed the same thing when I purchased the pouches before. Not sure why the company adds rice but here is a link of what I found online. https://www.pawlicy.com/blog/can-cats-eat-rice/ It mentions also that rice is high in carbs and fibers. It can be given to cat but as an occasional option. It is used as a filler also. Hope this helps

My cats love Applaws. Should I add cat vitamin with applaws? since it doesn't contain any taurine
- If that's all she's eating, then probably. I don't because my cat eats other cat food.

What is the amount of Taurine in this canned food?

Taurine does occur natural in the proteins we use (chicken or tune for example), however as none is added, there is no analysis of the content.

What wet food do you recommend for a 8 month old kitten with a sensitive stomach
One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
WHAT can I feed my cats, their wet food is suddenly "bad" and they won't touch it?
Dear friends; my 15 y.o. cat is chronic renal. she takes 125 ml serum w/lactate every 48 hs. No appetite: I must feed her Recovery & AD 120 ml/day via a seringe in the mouth. The only food she will eat spontaneouly is ND tuna or tuna&salmon. I live in Brazil, these cans are imported, very expensive. The vet told not to feed commercial canned tuna for its sodium content. Question: what if I buy natural tuna or salmon at the fishmonger and give her? Thank you VERY much!
My kitten is 4 months old. She refused to eat any wet food that comes in a can. I tried Iam (individual portions in plastic containers) she eats it but not so much anymore, tried more caned food... no luck. Now I tried Wiskas kitten wet food in plastic containers individual servings and she likes it. What can I do to get her to eat the good quality wet food or the ones she likes are really bad? She eat Purina veterinary diet Essential care dry food.
What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. Hi I have a cat (she's 5) and she constantly vomits.She stays with my family in Romania but I live in UK. She eats Nutraline Sensitive and Kitkat pouches and I recently bought Applaws because I saw the ingrediends and there is no way of comparison between Applaws and those brands. I bought that thinking she won't vomit anymore but she won't eat at all Applaws. I want to bring her here with me, but I don't know what I'll do if she won't eat... Do you have any suggestions? Thanks
