Best low-carb wet food for cats?
Cat food for heart health containing taurine
Hi! I want to know what’s the best source of protein for cats with severe feline acne. I feed him a mix of wet and dry food, with boiled boneless chicken 3 days a week and rest with local fish (I don’t know what it’s called) Ocassinally shrimps. He hates eggs and I read that too much liver is bad. We do not find salmon, tune, sardines, deli meat. What do you suggest? Thank you very much in advance. Pet coach has been very helpful.
I have tried a new food and my cat likes it. It is 'tuna in jelly', from Whiskas. One pouch of 85g, he eats almost all of it (leaves a little bit of it uneaten). I have seen on internet that tuna causes yellow fat disease. Can i feed it to him once a day? Also he is an adult cat. I don't know the exact age(i found him he was a stray and he's been with me ever since.) A picture of pack contents is attached.
Dear friends; my 15 y.o. cat is chronic renal. she takes 125 ml serum w/lactate every 48 hs. No appetite: I must feed her Recovery & AD 120 ml/day via a seringe in the mouth. The only food she will eat spontaneouly is ND tuna or tuna&salmon. I live in Brazil, these cans are imported, very expensive. The vet told not to feed commercial canned tuna for its sodium content. Question: what if I buy natural tuna or salmon at the fishmonger and give her? Thank you VERY much!
What wet food do you recommend for a 8 month old kitten with a sensitive stomach
My cat is not eating her food. I tried 2 x dry food (she usually eats this) and 6 different canned food. The only thing she will not turn down and eat is tuna (made for humans).
My cat is 9 years old, she got a UTI 4 months ago & it was on & off for 2-3 months. She had 2 rounds of antibiotics. The scan/X-ray showed kidney stones. She was flushed with xtra fluids and put on food for urinary tract & has stayed on it. She has been fine since. She eats dry food. Should I change her to wet? Her weight is good. I put 1/4 cup in her bowl AM & PM. She grazes a few times a day. She has a teas. tuna in veg oil daily. Is feeding this way OK? Should I put her on wet food? Tuna OK?
Hi! I give my persian boneless fish, carrot, spinach leaves cooked with rice 3meals/day and royal canin dry food for persian kitten in between main meals. Chicken liver and yoghurt two to three times per week. Is there any thing to add? 2. Is it ok to give calcium supplement for him? If yes how long? I have given half tab of below tablet daily for him about 3days now. Shall i continue? Really thankful for your kind support!
My 12 yo cat doesn’t eat enough. She drinks a lot and licks the gel or liquid from wet food and eats dry food. She also like cat broth but only eats the broth none of the meat. Is there anything I could do to help her get more nutrients ? I think she weighs only 6 lbs.
I have one cat who has been diagnosed with renal failure - early stages. She is six year old, and a very small kitty (6 pounds). She is now on Royal Canin Renal Support Dry food, which she seem to like pretty well, but I have two other cats in the house who do not need the food, but they like it also and will not eat their food (Taste of the Wild Dry Food). I also feed Wellness Pate wet food. I need suggestions on how to feed all of these cats. Will it harm the cats who are eating this food that
I have a 6 month old male kitten. He's my first male cat. As a way to increase his water intake, I've been adding sardine water, about 2 to 3 tablespoons with each meal. Here's the recipe for sardine water: Add a can of sardines packed in water with no salt to 2 cups of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Spray to remove sardines from liquid. That's the liquid that I'm adding to his meals. Is this something that's okay to do?
