I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
Hello again! I got some advice from PetCoach earlier today on getting my senior, finicky kitty to not be so picky about his food and it was recommended to try a Small amount of the juice /water from canned chicken in his wet food. could I try a small amount of chicken broth ... low sodium of course because he does have hi blood pressure and takes medicine for it. If this is ok and he likes it, is there any harm in this in the long term? Thanks!!
Hi!! Is it alright to feed my pelly whiskas adult wet cat food( freely available ) , as whiskas or royal canin kitten wet food is hard to find here. Amazon online order also failed. Shall i give boiled meat or fish instead? He is currently on royal canin kitten dry food only, but he eats too little of it and so skinny. But he is fond of eating meat and fish. I am worried, please advice.
What’s the best cat food I can give to my cat? She’s a Bombay and is 2 years, 5 months and she really likes chicken and turkey flavors. I tried Rachel Ray, natural balance and she dosent like there wet food for some reason?
Hi, I just bought a new food which is canned pure beef for cats. Noushi refuses to eat it. How can I make her eat it & get used to it. This is a high quality food !
I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I want to make sure I'm feeding them the best and most cost efficient way. What would you recommend feeding them, and how, and how much? Do their weights (attached photo) seem healthy?
i have a pregnant cat who have stopped eating her dry food after mating. iam feeding her boiled chicken which she likes to eats instead of wet food as it costs more. she eats 4 times a day. is it safe to feed her boiled chicken during pregnancy? i have been feeding her boiled chicken for past 2 days
Can I give my kitten raw beef. She's 6 weeks old and not taking any other meal other than beef.
Jerry our few months old kitten runs off almost everyday thus his food habit has changed. We're feeding him dry ocean food along with wet packet tuna and chicken. What can I feed him for change?
Can you please recommend a diet for a cat with Feline pancreatitis, currently feeding Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Feline Sensitivity Control Wet food. He only eats wet food.
Hi, I've noticed that my Luna likes my other cat's (Han) food. He is still eating his kitten food. I look at the ingredients and they are very similar. Protein & fiber are the same the only difference is the fat by 2%. I feed them both simply nourish Source Chicken dry food. But Han eats kitten and Luna eats adult. Is it okay for me to feed her kitten food?
