Why does it say this product is not grain free if no grains are listed under the ingredients?
- Hello! Thank you for your question! The Applaws Chicken Selection in Broth Multipack is made up of a variety of Applaws chicken flavors. When the "Ingredients" tab is clicked for this multipack, it lists the flavors included, not the actual ingredients in each can. Some of our Chicken flavors in the multipack have a small amount of rice included. This is why the product is not grain free. The ingredients for each flavor are listed below: Chicken with Broth - Chicken Breast, Chicken Broth, Rice Chicken with Pumpkin - Chicken Breast, Chicken Broth, Pumpkin, Natural Aspic Chicken with Cheese - Chicken Breast, Chicken Broth, Cheese, Rice We hope this helps!

Do these Applaws products have carrageenan? The photo doesn't show the actual ingredients and I think the ingredients is just saying what's in the box instead of actual ingredients. Can't make a decision because some Applaws has it and some doesn't.
- No, they do not. None of their broths do. Look for the the “Only X ingredients” sign to easily tell them apart from the gravies and mousses which do contain carrageenan. Also they have much more comprehensive breakdown of ingredients on their website, applawspetfood.com.

My senior cat (14) stopped eating his regular dry cat food. I did try a couple new different kinds but he just wanted wet food. Now he seems to bore of that quickly so I have switching up brands. Is there a certain brand/flavor you recomend? I went from Friskies to Iams. Now he is eating Fancy Feast. I just don't know what's best to do.

One of the many options I have considered for my senior cat with FLUTD is giving him an all canned food diet. He currently eats dry food and some wet. When I look at the can, the feeding suggestions state 1 can per 2.5 pounds. So that would be about 4 cans. He’s lucky to finish an entire can in a day. Does this indicate that a canned diet might not be best or do some cats eat less than than that suggestion or because he has dry too? I’ve only ever gave cats dry food so this all new to me. Thanks
I have an 8 month old 10 lb BIG maile kitten.He is very long and has bit paws. I assume he is still growing. How much should I be feeding him: 3 wet 3 oz cans and a little dry food - more or less? I've been feeding my cats Candidae food, dry hairball control kibble and wet food 2x/day. They like the dry, but LOVE the wet. However t's quite expensive and that brand only carries 3 oz cans of wet food which makes calculating feeding amounts difficult. I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
I have two cats, a 7 year old and an 11 year old. I've been giving them a mix of three types of dry food (Science Diet urinary health, Blue Buffalo healthy aging, and Blue Buffalo Indoor hairball control mature). Is this a good idea to mix these three together in their bowls? I just want them to get the benefits from these products as well and not get tired/develop an allergy from just one type of food constantly. Thank you!
