Questions
I don't see taurine in the ingredients. Is this nutritionally complete cat food or a cat treat?
- Taurine is a natural compound found in meat. They may not need to list it as it is already in chicken, tuna, etc. The reason Taurine is listed in dry foods and other canned food is because they add extra Taurine in it due to the lack of it occurring naturally (highly processed and therefore the "chicken" in other brands is stripped of nutrients). If you go to Applaws' website, they describe this in their FAQs. I feed my cats dry food along with Applaws' wet food to give them the added Taurine that way. Hope this helps!

What is the phosphorus content of this food in mg/100 kcal?
- Applaws wet cat food is 100% Natural, limited ingredient cat food that does not contain added vitamins or minerals. Due to this phosphorous is not added to the recipes and therefore does not have a dry matter value. Phosphorous can be found naturally in the proteins used, but this is variable in nature and cannot be measured. Unfortunately there is no phosphorous data.
