What would this be on my french bulldog puppy he is currently on antibiotics for oral suspension (says on box)
My rott is having an eye problem, its lower eyelid looks red and eyes looks watery some times. I have given antibiotics and eye drops as prescribed by my vet, still the condition is same. I have give azithromycin for 7 days (1 per day) and amoxicillin tab for 10 days(1 per day) , ivermectin 10 mg tab for 20 days and ciplox and tobramycin eye drops.
I was wondering if there is an over the counter version of Tobramyacin 0.5% drops, that would sphere safe for kittens?
My cat was prescribed clindamycin drops 25ml and the vet told me to give her half of the dropper twice a day. Is that right?
Are 300 mg capsules of clindamycin good for a 35lb dog with a severe dental infection
I need antibiotics for cat respiratory infection
My 20 year old female domestic shorthair was just prescribed Orbax, 1 ml/day, 20 ml oral suspension for a UTI. She is impossible to "pill" or dose with the syringe, but usually will take it in chicken broth. Today is the 3rd wasted dose and I'm starting to panic. No matter what I mix it up with, she rejects it. We hate to try to force pilling or syringe dosing because she is getting frail and we don't want to injure her. Please help! She's still doing great at 21, just stubborn. I love her
Can I break down a 250mg pill of Metronidazole for dosing a 2 to 3# puppy if they are to have liquid 12mg per 2# pup? I ask because I had a prescription from my vet and the cost was $44 for a 10 day supply, 40mg bottle, to dose 2 puppies. This was "compounded" by the only pharmacy in town that does this. I have other puppies that need treatment also, the littermates to these two. They are small breeds, Maltese and Chihuahua. Thank you so much!
I have a 3 pound yorkie I need to give amoxidrop to and I only have a up to 3ml dropper. Can you help with dosage please
Cat drools after he is given medicine. He had an abscess and was prescribed Augmentin suspension (200mg amoxycillin/28.5mg potassium clavulanate per 5mL). Dosage is 2mL twice a day. He doesn't drool while eating or drinking water, just after medicine. Is it a bad reaction to medication?
My dog has a bad eye infection what can I give him
Our vet prescribed Amoxicillin for a possible uri. Her dosage instructions were 1/2 dropper full daily 2x/ day, which is 1ml/day. The bottle states 1ml=50mg. However, the bottle (and online) says 5/10mg per pound once per day. So the bottle instructions max dosage would be 20mg for our 2lb kitten. Which instructions should i follow? The bottle or the vets, even though the vets recommended is 2.5x the dosage instructions. Thank you
