I have had this stuff around for years for minor cuts, scrapes, etc that need a more rapid healing, its highly vet recommended as well. I always encourage others to have this as a stable at home. Do not put in ear canal of pets ears, thats common sense, its a cream ointment for external use. I will always have this stuff on tap!

Yes, I recommend this product.

DO NOT PUT INSIDE CAT'S OR DOG'S EARS

Animax made our cat go deaf. We followed our vet's instructions and put the liquid inside her ears regularly. She permanently lost her hearing. There should be a warning on the box that states that this will cause deafness if put inside the ears. NEVER put this stuff inside your cat's or dog's ears; the deafness is permanent.

No, I do not recommend this product.

It works. My dog has chronic ear infections, so we are trying this out. It's a steroid tho. I looked it up after my 9 year old Ripley had a mad crazy fun play session with dog Jack. She rarely does. So it's a good thing for her, but might effect another dog differently. It does say you can taper use as the dogs ear gets better, so I'll go every other day soon.. But listen to your vet! It's a bigger tube so you can get a good squeeze in versus other ear infection options.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This is a much less expensive generic equivalent of Resortin Ointment, which would have cost $30 at the veterinarian's office. The ointment is very effective for wound treatment. Petco was very prompt in contacting the veterinarian and processing and mailing RX.

No, I do not recommend this product.
