I have a long haired elderly maincoon/tabby mix with mats all over his body because he is too overweight to reach them and honestly doesnt even try. Is there some product we can use to help him out? Shedding brushes are useless at this point and we've nearly resorted to a professional groomer.
Any ideas on this fur loss?
Is it ok to crop a 6 month old dobermans ears
I sent my double coated dog to get groomed and the groomer shaved off his first coat. How do I make sure my dog is comfortable and his first layer grows back normally? I’m concerned since I’ve read double coated dogs should not be shaved. I’ve attached pictures of my dog before and after the grooming.
My cat had bad mats groomer shaved hm 2 days ago since then he is excessivly licking, he is a 14 yr old Siberian. What can I use to sooth the skin.
How can I manage my Maine coons fur? He never lets me brush him and he has a small spot that is tangled. Whenever I try he bites and gets upset. I try to be as gentle as I can and reward him but it’s very difficult. I don’t want him to be all matted up-it must hurt! Any and all tips and products I can use are greatly appreciated! Thanks :)
Much hair loss of my lebrador dog of 1 and 1/2year
Can I give Trusty biotin or keratin to help his coat grow long and full? I know some Collies don't have a very long coat, but I was just hoping there's something I can use to help his grow long.
Dog neck area is loosing a lot of hair. Currently has a big bold spot. Collar is nowhere near too tight. He is currently shedding a lot all over which is not the usual. Normal to light shedding usually.
My Yorkie poo has been blading on one spot. I bought some vitamins for his hair and skin. This problem has be going for 3 weeks already, not sure what else to do.
Good morning, I recently took my pet for grooming, however, he was found to have matted fur, that's too close to the skin, was told, he needs medical grooming, does petco do this.
Have a spunky new rescue chihuahua mix and she is skittish. So much so she will resist any efforts to trim her nails. We have 4 dogs so I have trimmed nails hundreds of times--but with Ricki Ricardo, no luck. I sit on the floor and flip them over and cradle them between my legs. My wife distracts them with peanut butter on a spoon. Besides going to a groomer or vet, any ideas? I thought maybe a groomer table might help. Are there premium nail cutters of higher quality than store bought?
