We’ve had these for a couple months, they get the job done for sure! Already paid for themselves after just a few uses! Would definitely buy again.

These clippers couldn't cut my dogs hair without causing sever streaking in the coat. They are some of the worst clippers that I have ever used.

I only got half of my 14 lb dog shaved before these gave up. I followed the instructions and oiled them before and during- but now I have a half shaved dog until I exchange these for something else.

Gets hot

Don't buy. After 10 minutes of using they got super hot. I couldn't hold them any more. The machine is loud and shakes, my hand felt like it was vibrating after I stopped using it. Not worth it. Doesn't but too well.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible product

It’s way too loud my dogs are terrified of the noise. They jump when I turn it on and they don’t mind getting their hair trimmed with other more quiet trimmers. Horrible purchase and I lost the packaging it came with so can’t return. Trash I guess

Clippers worked well for Shih Tzu cut

Nisolo

Purchased at end of quarantine to trim our Shih Tzu. Great price and worked well. She had a lot of hair to remove so it took a fair amount of time to shave her down. The clippers did get pretty warm in my hand, but in all fairness they were on for a long time and all clippers will get warm. Would purchase again.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Dog clippers

I bought this and the quality wasn’t that great. My dog yelped when I started and this is after I oiled the blades. The blades were on crooked. One side higher than the other. I returned the product to petco. Maybe it was just that one clipper out of ten that may have the issue but I wouldn’t recommend using a faulty product and perhaps buying one more time the product won’t be the same. If so then I highly wouldn’t recommend it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I need to replace the blade on mine but am having a hard time finding the right one. Please help.

  1. We do not offer the replacement blades for purchase separately at this time.

The built in Adjustable blades what are the sizes and how can I tell?  Also what setting do I use on face, paw and butt.  Sorry might be a stupid question.  Thanks in advance.

  1. Usually with Andis they will say on the blade what size it is: 10, 7, 40, etc. Depending on what you're doing and what kind of dog, the shortest you should go on the body or face/sanitary area is a 10 blade. A slightly longer cut would be the 7 blade. The comb attachments that come with it are used for longer cuts. In my experience it is sometimes hard to work with depending on the fur type and texture. Be careful with the plastic comb attachments as they break easily. For cleaning up the pad area I will sometimes use a 40 blade but a 10 will work also. I also recommend having multiple blades of the sizes you use the most as they will heat up and burn your pet. It's easy to just swap them out during the grooming. Hope this helps!

Can this be used to remove hair from my cats paws?

  1. Yes, this unit will be great for those finer areas of the paws! #Andis

Is this good for synthetic fur?

Can the be used on an American Eskimo? Just trimming around her legs and bum and maybe around her face. But I want to do the back of her legs

    1. I purchased this for my mix shitzhu and bishon frise! It’s pretty loud and it vibrates a lot it will get the job done I  mean for the price we getting out money’s worth :)

How noisy is this clipper? I have a very fussy toy poodle. I need a clipper that's quiet or silent.

    1. Mine are very quiet. They aren't silent but very quiet. My dog doesn't seem to mind them at all.

Which clippers would be the best to get for a thick haired Chihuahua that sheds a lot.

    1. the clippers I purchased worked well on my chow and she sheds a lot too it cut right through her thick hair with no problem

Is this good for grooming cats as well as dogs?

    1. I can't answer this but I would recommend them for any animal if your cat will let you comb it you can probaly trim it, they are quiet so they won't scare your animal.

    4 attachment comb material?

    1. Plastic attachments.

Will it work on a very matted Shitzu?

    1. Nope. You have to be able to run a comb through your dog's fur without it snagging because the device comes with different lengths of attachable combs. You glide the comb through your dog's fur and the razor clips off fur that hangs over the combhead.
