Caution: Read this important safety information before using the product. Direct contact of uncured silicone sealant irritates eyes and may irritate skin. Overexposure to vapor can irritate eyes, nose, and throat. Avoid eye and skin contact. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not handle contact lenses with sealant on hands. In case of eye contact flush with water immediately for at least 15 minutes and obtain prompt medical attention. In case of skin contact remove from skin with dry cloth or paper towel and flush with water immediately. Sealant releases an acetic acid (vinegar-like odor) while curing. Keep out of the reach of children.

My bearded dragons tank is cracked. It’s the lower glass panel. Will this work to keep it intact?

  1. I would recommend going to a local glass shop and getting them to cut a replacement piece of glass.  You could then silicone it in place.

Is this product safe for all animal/pet products once its cured? I plan to make a acrylic dig box for my ferrets and want to know if this product will be safe to use.

  1. As long as they don't take to eating it, it's safe for anyone and anything.

Could this be used as glue to make a rock cave?

  1. This is to seal the tank it won't hold the rock cave there is a pet and water safe epoxy clay they sell

Is this food grade safe?  Other products have killed my fish.  I will only use the purest grade now. And if it is good enough to be used around food, it will be good enough for my fish.

  1. Any PURE 100% Silicone should be fine as long as it is allowed to fully cure before you put expose it to water. Even 100% silicone can leach chemicals into the water if it isn't fully cured. I would also be careful about basing your decisions on "food grade" stuff, there are plenty of chemicals that are technically safe for humans to consume that can easily kill fish such as chlorine and certain preservatives/mold inhibitors. Best of luck

does this work underwater or does it have to be dry?

  1. It has to be applied to a dry area and allowed to cure.
