This product is too expensive for the quality. I specifically chose this product because I had exactly the same item before that lasted a very long time. However, the tent was a cheaper grade Tarp like material that definitely would not withstand the outside weather for my pets., The support rods would not stay together and did not work correctly To ensure that the tent stayed up. I had to take the support rods from my previous tent and use on the new one. If I had it to do over, I would not buy the item

It has that weird smell but after two days of airing it out its fine. the cats love it as the winter cottage. id recommend it even for pups since it is very spacious
