Hi I have a tiger Oscar, he has hole in the head for a while now, have been doing every other day water changes, the hole is big and recently he started to develop a whitish patch near other eye, I don't know what to do, also have been treating with maracyn2, erythromycin, parasite guard
Can I add my big Oscar to my small oscar
My cichlid has been not acting normal and he he's turned a different color on one side and he has a green slime like tint in different spots of his body
I recently found out my tiger Oscar is female. I’ve had her for 3 years. Two days ago, she laid eggs. She is the only one in the tank. She has been guarding them, which is obvious why. Today she must have eaten them. There is like 3 left and she is still guarding the area. I am unsure what I should do.
Currenly i have two African Cichlids, specifically tigar oscar cichlids. They are in a large tank, about 75 gallons, with a algae eating plako. They are about 5 to 6 inches long. Im curious to know if i could move my African sideneck turtle into the tank with them. She is young. But ive noticed tha she doesnt swim extremely well so i think it might be a bad idea. Thoughts?
I have 2 salmenese tiger fish and two smaller fish in approximately 3.5 L bowl. I bought them on 1 April. 3 act normal but one act abnormal from first day. One salmenese tiger fish doesn't move much first it stayed at bottom now it's gapping at surface and if I try to catch to check it it goes down again. It's fins are turning red or I don't know if it already was. I don't understand how to help. Parents are out town so I can't go to shop. I am not sure if all are eating food.
My Oscar fish is about 4 months old and when I first got him he was very active and then out of no where he became very lathargic and he barely eats and it look as so his scales are beginning to come off he is housed with onother Oscar but the other one doesn't mess with him so I don't know what is going on
One of my parrot cichlid has developed black eye which I don't seem to understand as to what is it exactly. Eye is swollen and a bit out of its socket. Previously it was white but now changing to black color. Due to this fish is hiding continuously and other fishes are pinching it.
Can I add a regular oscar to my fan tail oscar.?
How many oscar fish can raise to adult hood in a 55 gallon tank
My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.
Hi my oscar fish is still recovering from popeye disease and lost one eye and is partially blind in the other, he is now showing signs of hole in head but im unsure if it is or if he has injured himself. I'll attach a picture, if it is hole and head what is ur recomeded treatment thanks.
