The Albino Peacock Cichlid is a striking freshwater fish, admired for its soft pastel hues of white, yellow, pink, and orange, paired with vivid red eyes. This elegant Lake Malawi native grows to about 5 inches and adds a unique, glowing contrast to any aquarium. Albino Peacocks are well-suited for both beginners and experienced aquarists. They thrive in 55+ gallon tanks with sandy substrates, rocky structures, and open swimming space. Best kept with other similarly sized, mild-tempered African cichlids, they adapt well to community setups. A varied diet of high-quality cichlid pellets, spirulina, and occasional frozen or live foods helps maintain their health and color. Hardy and low-maintenance, the Albino Peacock Cichlid makes a beautiful, serene addition to any African cichlid tank.

One of my parrot cichlid has developed black eye which I don't seem to understand as to what is it exactly. Eye is swollen and a bit out of its socket. Previously it was white but now changing to black color. Due to this fish is hiding continuously and other fishes are pinching it.
My cichlid has been not acting normal and he he's turned a different color on one side and he has a green slime like tint in different spots of his body
My pet pike cichlid is not eating and is always staying in one corner of the tank. It is in a 20 gallon with 2 convict cichlids, 2 firemouth cichlids, 1 Oscar, and two plecos. My ammonia is 0, nitrate 0 and ph is 6.5. Water is a little tinted because of the driftwood.
I have bought 2 parrot cichlids about 20 days ago. One of the parrot fish is constantly hiding behind the filter. Eating well but when it comes out to swim the other parrot fish keeps pinching it and doesn't allow to it to move around in the tank. I don't understand the problem. Please suggest what to do. Also the color of the fish is bit dull as compared to other one.
How to increase colour deep red and yellow citation of red blood parrot fish and yellow parrot fish ? And how far shyness of red blood parrot fish ?
Hi there, I'm not sure if this website applies to fish, but I don't have anyone in my area that can help. I have a gold nugget pleco and he eats veggies and driftwood all the time, has a large 55 gallon tank to himself and he has normal catfish habits-sleep during day, up at night. Anyways he was a beautiful black and gold but now his colour is fading... I looked it up and it means death (but he's eating and still very alive...). Is there anything you know about why else the colour could go?
i also have a female cichlid that her color is faded she looks sick but is eating fine and swimming fine she is breathing a bit heavy the heat is at 85 not sure if the digitli heat is accurate or not
