Get your algae under control with the Albino Mystery Snail. They are a great addition to help keep uneaten food and algae at a minimum in community and planted aquariums. This peaceful snail will not bother other snails, fish or plants. Like many other snails the Albino Mystery Snail does not have a very long-life span and they will have to be replaced every year or so. Some defining characteristics of this snail is that they have gill and lung function so they can survive out of water, and an operculum. The operculum is a piece of shell that fits over the opening where the snails body extrudes from the shell. The snail can withdraw into its shell and protect itself by closing this "trapdoor" and sealing itself off from the outside world. This snail mostly relies of on detritus and algae as their food source, but if that becomes scarce be sure to supplement their diet with sinking pellets.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

I have 2 Mystery Snails and a betta in a 3.5G tank. Tank is filtered and has a heater. One snail has not grown at all while the other has nearly doubled in size. He is lathargic and I rarely see him eat his food or even come out of the shell. His shell has turned to a dull dark brown colour and looks to be cracking a little bit. Does this sound like a water issue? Does he sound sick? What can I do to help him. In the last picture, he is the smaller snail in the front.
Is this snail is dead? If yes why?
We found a white oak snake that has one black eye and a clear eye is it special

Thanks in advance.
I want to get an apple snail or a mystery snail. I have an indoor storage container pond where I will be putting one or two goldfish in. It doesn't have a top, so can the snails crawl out? If they can, how can I avoid it? Also someone told me to quarantine it, how do i do that?
My black mystery snail layer 1 set of eggs, without a male. The next week, she layed another set. Currently, I have four sets of eggs and I'm not sure why she layed so many without a male. Do you have any ideas? Also, will the eggs hatch?
Hi I have an indoor albino male cat who I bought home from a shelter. Since I've had him I've noticed every now & then he'll have little sores that have bled from him scratching. Are albino cats known to have skin problems or should I take him to get checked Thank you
I just received Spooky in place of a different algae eater that I had. Spooky is a baby. And is a bristle nose algae eater. And I'm not very sure on the way on how to care for this fella very well yet. I am talking to a breeder about the little one. And it's to young to know gender too. Please help me learn what it needs.
