My dog really love this toy, however, this toy didn't last for a day. My dog can easily break the rope in 2 hours.

Bought this for my shichon puppy as one of his first toys. This is by far his favorite toy, plays with it every day. We have had him just under a year and we are on our third purchase of this toy. The rope is a different material then a typical tug rope toy, which I think is why he likes it so much, however, I think that is also why it doesn't last that long. The ball portion stays in fairly good shape with the usual fuzz wear of a normal tennis ball. The rope fibers thin out and get to the point where the knots loosen and just won't stay tied. If he goes through it this quickly, I can't imagine it lasting very long for a larger dog.
