What can i give my Chihuahua for trouble with his breathing
We have human albuterol is it safe to give to a dog
My dog has collapse traquea and CDF. At time she has respiratory attacks like asthma. At the vet she is put under oxygen and neubulizer treatment. Is injected with meds to open her airways. Have asked my vet the possibility to give her the neubulizer therapy but has never recommended any meds. Is Albuterol a good alternative? Budesonide? Just like to have a home alternative when she gets these atttacks.
My 14y/o fur baby has confirmed CHF. She's on lasix and prednisolone; however, lately is having a harder time breathing than usual and wheezes and coughs alot. My vet has already said current weather conditions make her worse etc. So my question is just until I can get her seen again, would Mucinex DM or an extra dose of steroid help her breath easier?
My chihuahua age 7.5 was diagnosed CHF last week, rushed into ER with breath difficulties and was put into oxygen tank , recovered and out in the evening, eating etc and well enough to come home the following day. she was giving 0.36 Dimazon injection, and 0.72 vetmedin l solution injection. Later she was given 0.14 dimazon injection.and 0.1 alvegesic. She is now on vetmedin 1.25mg and frusol oral solution twice a day. would like to put her on Young at heart , please suggest if it's ok thanks
Where can I get amorazole tablet for my dog on line
Best flea/ parasite pill for small dog?
My 11lb Pom (6 years) has just been diagnosed via x-ray, with a collapsed trachea. I understand this is a progressive disease that needs management now. We will be aiming to get her down to 9.5/10lbs, getting a air purifier, we’ve got the harness. I will also be giving her glucosamine for dogs to help (is this crazy). She’s on Temaril P now. 1 pill every 12 hours for 4 days. Then half a pill every 24 hours till gone. Can someone tell me please about the management with these pills going forth. I
My dog breathes fast all the time at rest at sleep and its been going on a long time. I can barely walk to get to the vet when I did go they said her heart is ok they seemed to brush it off. I know its called tachapnea. What can I do to slow her breathing down. Shes 11 years old 12 lbs chi mix she eats and drinks no coughing no vomit no loose stools. Could it be there is nothing we can do. I cannot spend thousands at the vet. She is on Ativan half of 1mg in half- low dose as she has anxiety
Sweetie had asthma attacks some time ago which I mistook for hairballs but I investigated and realized her symptoms matched sthma, I quickly changed her environment and food for possible allergens to see if that would help and it did. But she did have one this month due to someone petting her when they had too much cologne on, I have vet appt soon fo a rescue pump for sound of mind but I do not want her on any steriods due to their effects. If so what steriod inhailer has the least side effects?
Just took my 10yr old Chesapeake retriever to the doctor for a cough with a hack, she tested negative for heartworms, Dr didn't hear any fluid on her lungs and her heartbeat sounds smooth and fine. She prescribed a 20mg prednisone steroid to try for a couple weeks to see what that does and then come back if not better for an chest x ray, just wanted to get a 2nd opinion on it.
My 14yo chihuahua mix has chf. Diagnosis 5 months ago. Her rhr was 28 this morning. She had bouts of panting and coughing. She is on Vetmedin 1.25mg every 12 hours and Lasix 12.5mg every 8 hours. Any suggestions please?
