The AeroDawg Canine Aerosol Chamber is designed to be used with a metered dose inhaler (puffer) as recommended by a veterinarian to deliver aerosol medication to dogs with respiratory diseases such as chronic bronchitis, laryngeal paralysis or tracheal collapse.
- - The AeroDawg Canine Aerosol Chamber comes in two sizes: small for dogs under 20 lbs and large for dogs over 20 lbs. Each AeroDawg CAC includes two masks to accommodate your dog

My 10 1/2yr old Presa Canario was at my vet for 8 days, being treated for pneumonia (IV antibiotics). He sent her home with a prescription for Augmentin (10 days). It's the 8 day since being home on antibotics, and she's going down hll, coughing more & labored breathing. My vet has not been n (yesterday & today), and cannot see my dog until tomorrow late afternoon. I have a nebulizer & albuterol solution. Can I expose her to it, to help her breath easier?
My dog is a 9 year old toy poodle/Pomeranian mix. She has a severe heart murmur and is in heart failure. She's coughing constantly and has a hard time breathing. Last time she went in to vet, they kept her in ICU and put her in oxygen therapy. It really helped her. We asked if they would send home an rx for oxygen tank and a doggie mask but they said the only do that for lung problems. I don't understand why bc she's having a terrible time breathing. Should I try another vet?
My 14y/o fur baby has confirmed CHF. She's on lasix and prednisolone; however, lately is having a harder time breathing than usual and wheezes and coughs alot. My vet has already said current weather conditions make her worse etc. So my question is just until I can get her seen again, would Mucinex DM or an extra dose of steroid help her breath easier?

My 11lb Pom (6 years) has just been diagnosed via x-ray, with a collapsed trachea. I understand this is a progressive disease that needs management now. We will be aiming to get her down to 9.5/10lbs, getting a air purifier, we’ve got the harness. I will also be giving her glucosamine for dogs to help (is this crazy). She’s on Temaril P now. 1 pill every 12 hours for 4 days. Then half a pill every 24 hours till gone. Can someone tell me please about the management with these pills going forth. I

Just sent a question about Sarge, and there wasn't a reply button. In regards to his aural hematoma, I found a photo so have attached it. I called it 'small' but maybe it's not? We are using the No Flap Ear Wrap to keep him from moving his ears and it works very well. There is also some black skin on the tip from the repeated aspirations, I guess.
My Shih Tzu, 14.5 years old has an enlarged heart. X-Ray shows about twice the size. He's on VetMedin and Fortekor and has now spills for the fluid buildup. He is breathing heavier than normal, but is activ and eats well. What else can I do to help him ?

Angel has lung CA, X-ray 1 week ago showed primary mass increasing in size, lots of new smaller masses, RR currently 46 (vet said 30-40 fine), nasal flaring, use of accessory muscles, and new fine crackles to RLL. She looks comfortable, resting, eyes closed, should we bring her to ER or wait til morning? It’s 2230 right now, could try to get her into regular vet in morning. What could be done to make her comfortable? 1xdose furosemide? Currently on prednisone, gabapentin, CBD. Thanks!!
My dog s showing signs of collapsed trachea, she is 15 years old, Lhaso apso mix female, she has not been spayed and has had 1 litter of puppies.
