My vet prescribed this medication off-label for my cat's idiopathic cystitis. Petco had the best price I found, and I was so thankful they did, as I also had to purchase syringes and hypodermic needles to administer it to him. Unfortunately, since only the vial of Adequan was mailed to me (within a pill bottle and padded envelope), there were no instructions included on pulling up the dosages. I googled the proper/sterile procedures, watched several YouTube videos, and then had to call a pharmacist to clear up further questions that I still had.

In one week this product has gone up by almost 20%!! Not at all pleased with this

My problem with Petco was the short time they have for the vet to respond.

Petco had the best price and allowed me to purchase only one vial where everyone else was selling only a two pack. This is given to my cat once a month and a vial lasts a year; no need for a two pack.

We have used this for our German Shepherd who has Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia. This is a miracle medication for him. Our vet says this works well on some dogs and not on others. It is definitely worth trying if your dog has either of these issues
