Just like you, your cat or kitten is a unique individual and her feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity. That's why we suggest using the feeding guide as a starting point, and monitoring your cat or kitten's weight and adjusting amounts as needed. We also recommend feeding her twice daily and always keeping fresh, clean water available. When switching diets, it's important to transition your cat or kitten as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA. Use a standard 8-ounce measuring cup. Serve dry or lightly moistened. See your veterinarian regularly. To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry location.

Questions
Is this suitable for a Siamese with a VERY sensitive stomach? Or should I try the limited ingredients type food? He’s on a sensitive food now but still pukes.
- Both of my sensitive-tummied kitties love it. Make sure you transition really slowly. Adding pumpkin to his diet may help. Other foods that have worked well for us are Orijen's 'Six Fish' and wet foods from Tiki Cat, Weruva, and Soulistic. The wet foods all have options with pumpkin and the only 'surprises' we get now are the occasional hairball.

Does this product require refrigeration after opening?
- Refrigeration of ACANA is not required. Rather than a garage with large temperature fluctuations, the best storage is in your home in a cool, dry place at room temperature.
