I’m considering buying Acana Wholesome Grains Beef. My dog age 8 has always eaten chicken or turkey. OK to change diet?
- You can certainly try this diet for your dog! If possible, when transitioning to a new diet, start with 25% of the new formula mixed with 75% of the old formula, and gradually increase the new formula over the span of 5-7 days. Specific ratios between new and old formulas will depend on your individual dog, so keep an eye on the stool and slow down if needed.
