Dog food was terrible gave our dog horrible gas where he would clear a room! I’m talking eye watering and almost puking for humans kind of gas…..🥹If your fur baby has gas from this get them off it quick. The stomach upset was real!!!!

I have an English bulldog and he used to have lots of skin related issues. Ever since we switched his food to Acana brand and whole grain he is doing better.

Acana and Orijen are the best there is. All my dozen dogs love it. I've seen some folks who's pets didn't like it, and that's normal as dogs are individuals with different tastes. Everyone I've turned onto Acana has said the same thing, it costs more but that cost shows in the quality of their health. Beautiful coats, firm number 2's and less of them, which is a good sign your furbaby is extracting more from a denser higher quality food. Having French Bulldogs can be a challenge due to allergies. Primarily from processed chicken and other fowl. Acana has so many alternatives that my fur babies get quality and variety in every bowl. Thanks Acana and Orijen. My littlest fur babies love the freeze dried patties....have an older 1.25 lb chihuahua that won't eat anything else. Thanks for all your products.

My American staffy goes nuts over this food. I adopted him from the shelter and they sent him home with a large bag of Pedigree adult dog food. He would only take a few bites of it, then leave it alone, but we figured it’s what he was used to eating at the shelter. He started having a lot of skin issues and had a pretty bad breakout of hives which later caused him to lose some patches of fur on the back of his neck and each side of his jaw (we have no idea what caused it). I decided to change his diet, since bully breeds are prone to several food allergies, so we decided to try Acana salmon and barley at the recommendation of a friend that feeds her bully the same food, which seemed to help his skin issues too. Since getting this food, he is so excited to eat now and gobbles it up in a few seconds. I will sometimes feed him handfuls of kibble by hand and use it as training time. He is way more focused when Acana food is a reward for him doing a command. I am also starting to notice his skin problems subsiding and his fur is growing back in shiny. My dog loves this food!

Dogs did not do well with this flavor

I have three dogs, Two of them will eat anything. I switched from Ocean fish to salmon, I did a gradual mix of one to one. The shepherd who is picky wouldn’t eat it at all. My golden retriever I had no issues with. My Newfoundland I noticed was belching once a day, but didn’t think it was the food. Then I was feeding them only the salmon and German Shepherd still not wanting to eat, and I had to add treats or boiled chicken something to entice him, Being a picky eater I didn’t think anything of it. The Newfoundland I was still observing that he was belching. My concern was that he was going to bloat so I kept close eye on him now I’m into my third bad ( a bag last me 1 week) My German Shepherd there was no change, my Newfoundland is now resurging, and my golden retriever is eating less. I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s this flavor of Acana as I didn’t have a problem with the other flavor, I had been feeding for years.

I switched to this after many many issues with other brands. I switched both my pups, 8yrs and 7mon, over and they LOVE it. They love salmon. They didn’t any any issues switching over. No tummy upsets. They lap it up.
