I tried a can of the poultry pate and my dog loved it.

I’ve been feeding the chicken Premium Pate as a supplement to the Acana Wholesome grains Chicken dry food for about 6 mos now and my 10 yr old, 18 lb mix breed absolutely loves them both! Stools are less mushy and he licks his bowl clean every meal! The ONLY thing I’d like to see changed in Acana’s dog food is the use of Sunflower oil in some of their foods instead of fish oil in others. As a result of not wanting the plant-based seed oil, I’ve been limited in my choice of canned flavors and have been forced to choose Merrick brand for the flavor variety I’m looking for. Overall though, I really like Acana brand for their dedication to providing very high quality ingredients for our pets and will continue to buy them!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Acana poultry with bone broth pate to try out and see if my dogs liked it, I usually add a wet food and some fresh ingredients to my dogs kibble to add variety. This food is really nice it smells like a meal I’d cook for myself almost like a chicken casserole or a chicken soup maybe smell it smells nice is nutritional and adds that extra my dogs need. I have 2 dogs opposite ends of the size weight spectrum one is a Jack Russel little guy high energy grumpy sometimes lol my other one is a Rhodesian Ridgeback rescued from being killed bc she didn’t have to ridge of fur, also high energy. The little dog weighs about 8-12 pounds he’s fit and lean and muscular, the picture of a perfect Jack Russel, my Rhodesian she’s perfect hits the right markers to she’s 2 yrs old weighs about 85 lbs is HUGE, very defined muscular, she is extremely high energy bc of activity levels req’d to keep their minds stimulated a high protein diet is a must. This is it, I highly recommend Acana!

The cans have such a great amount of pate in them, and I was able to feed both of our guys with just one can. We like to mix this pate in with our normal dry food, it's a great way to get our more finicky one to eat his dry food. I love knowing that I'm feeding our boys the best, and this ACANA Premium has benefits packed into each and every bite that they devour! It has protein rich chicken and turkey, plus vegetables and fruits such as sweet potato and antioxidant rich blueberries. It helps maintain an optimal immune system, as well as skin and coat health to keep our furry loved ones feeling and looking their best! There are so many different varieties to choose from including texture options. I would definitely recommend the ACANA brand, and will continue to purchase their products for our boys!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a very finicky picky mini pin eater. I tried it first with a few teaspoons with his dry food as a topper. He was okay with it somewhat, but now he walks away if it put it out. Again I do have an extremely picky eater. At first glance the you can see specks of green veggies, some carrots, the smell in the can not noticable. Out the can it's not over powering.
