This is my first time trying wet dog food; how much would I use if I were mixing it with a half cup of dry Acana food? How would I store the remaining food for next meal?
- For how much to mix, it depends on your dog breed, size, age, and activity level. You'll need to do some calorie calculations. But how to store the leftover food in the can, search for "silicone can lids" and you'll get a lot of results. I got some from Amazon that work great and have different size concentric circles that fit different cans. These cans are pretty standard and seem to be the same size as canned vegetables and other common cans. I hope this helps!

I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. What is the best food to feed a 55-pound highly active hound? I was told to switch to grain free, but her stool has been mucous like and runny. I've tried Redford Naturals Limited Ingredient (I've tried chicken, beef, sweet potato) and American Journey Limited ingredient (lamb). Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
