hello, i have been feeding my dog raw kiblets and would like to switch him to dry food. my vet suggested science diet however i noticed it has a lot of synthetic materials. i would like your opinion on this brand Acana. here are some of the ingredients "Deboned chicken*, deboned turkey*, chicken giblets* (liver, heart, kidney), turkey giblets* (liver, heart, kidney), chicken meal, catfish meal, whole green peas, red lentils, pinto beans, pollock meal, chicken fat, chickpeas, green lentils, "
I want to get this canned food for my dog as a topper to her dry food. It has shredded chicken along with whole white beans, peas and potatoes. Will she be able to digest this ok because the beans, peas and potatoes are not ground into a pate texture? she's on the dry version of this currently. I also ditched the twelve calorie treats and purchased the smaller 2 calorie treats and I'm only giving her three of those per day. Her total intake of extras is now less than 10% of her diet. :-)
My dog is on Acana singles (grain free) should I rotate between 2-4 protein sources or just pick one? What is better for her health? Also is my dog overweight? She is about 18 pounds. (18.3 today) also are these treats ok or are they junky? Why or why not?
Have a question on what dog dry food you would recommend? Wellness core ? Wellness complete health ? Blue wilderness high protein grain free ? Taste of the wild ?
Dogs on canned food with dry food. Want them on dry food only. Very picky dogs. Thinking for their transition blending freeze dried bully mini cubes to make a yummy powder on top. A youtuber names Simpatico recommended for finicky dogs (liver treats) but how and when can I fade that out? Thinking just a table spoon or so the most on the food
What are your thoughts on nutro max grain free for small breed and avo derm beef recipe ? Which is best or also the blue buffalo wildnerness

My question is I am planning to feed him Stella and Chewy's perfectly puppy chicken and salmon dinner patties freeze dried dog food. On the package it says under 2lb feeds 2 freeze dried patties, are 2 freeze dried patties enough for him or should I feed him more. How many calories puppy needs per day. How to make transation from his kipple to new food, eating 1/4 cup kipples 3 times per day

I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
