I am reviewing a different purchase. I changed the date on my repeat order and when I was expecting it yesterday I got an email saying it had been returned, with no reason given. I need the food and if this is the kind of mistake that happens at Petco I will switch to Chewys for my dogs needs

Increase animal protein and dump the grains

I have a little white dog that historically constantly licked her paws. Additionally her face and paws were stained a light brown. I have moved from canned dog food and now going towards as much animal protein percentage that I can find. Additionally I want completely grain-free. Acana hits the spot. Itโ€™s easy to use and store. Yes, more expensive so finding sales helps. I also augment with raw ground turkey. My girl is 80% better in a short time. Fur is a bright white (like sparkly white) and paw licking has significantly reduced. Can only imagine the internal improvements this species-appropriate diet has made for her. Much more rewarding spending money on food she loves and keeps her healthy rather than ongoing vet bills.

My 7-month-old Chihuahua puppy is extremely fussy, and he loves this Acana freeze dried chicken best of the foods he has tried, including other top of the line premium puppy foods. He gets this food every evening and is super disappointed if I give him something else. I am impressed with the ingredients.

My Yorkie loves this food. She is super picky about food. We have a very hard time to get her to eat anything. She cleans her plate after every meal now. Only draw back is that itโ€™s a little pricey. Otherwise a great food.

For my puppy, the directions say about 5 patties per day. Can someone please advise on how many patties are in a normal 14oz bag? I am trying to get an idea of how long it would last?

    There are two size of bags. The small one would only last a few days. The larger bag about a week feeding 5 a day. You can also crush it up and put on top of their food occasionally. Acana has a good puppy food, too. Congratulations on the puppy!!ย
