Brought this for the beef and jerk so far found two pieces of jerk. I guess when they say beef and jerk that use what they mean. For the price I would not recommend to anyone.

This food is amazing! My standard poodle is super super picky and I’ve bought so many different food brands and he’s loved this one the most. I didn’t even have to put any food topper with the kibble and he devoured it. Definitely recommend for picky eaters.

I have to agree with Larry my dogs digestive system is perfect and he is a golden doodle, although I am finding it hard to find the large sizes! Make more!

Well I recently put up a post and had 6 pictures with my post, but my pictures aren't being put up with my post. The pictures show the food full of hair.

This is the first time I have feed Acana, I chose the Butcher's Favorites Farm Raised Beef & Liver Recipe. We used to feed Orijen 6 fish due to my female having allergy issues, and wished I never switched now, After almost feeding the first whole bag, I had added a little bit of human grade beef broth, no more than a 1/4 cup in each bowl for my aussies, when I was stirring I noticed pieces of hair all over the bottom of the bowls. I was very concerned about why there was hair in their bowls. Their bowls were washed before scooping their food so I know bowls were clean. I picked up pieces of kibble and noticed the hair is from the dogfood. There is so much hair in the kibble is sickening to me! This breaks my heart that I am paying this much for a 4 lb bag of food for my babies and it is full of dam hair. I also had just purchased a second bag this past weekend, I opened it and this kibble is also covered in hair. The bags both also have different lot numbers and dates. This is not ok! I know they are dogs and in nature they would get hair from a kill, but this is ridiculous. I'm so mad I chose this brand and it is covered in hair. Ok so what animal hair is in my dogs food???? So if any at Acana reads these reviews I would love a answer!

I tried this for my dog and he absolutely goes NUTS for it. We had been feeding him the other chicken recipe that has 60% protein for years. I’m not sure if it’s the jerky bits and/or the slightly higher protein content but my 10yr old golden doodle is up at 5am eagerly expecting his breakfast! I would say that each scoop maybe has only a little bit of jerky; either way though my dog gobbles it up so I can’t complain about that too bad.
