I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.

I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
I'm looking to get this cage. The chart says it's good for two guinea pigs, which I have. In the comments a lot of people say their two guinea pigs were happy. But I just wanted to be sure. I'm thinking about getting this cage and then getting another later on to attach to it and expand it. What do you think? I have inherited an african grey from a friend who is ill. She's had him 15 years. I bought a new ladder for his cage and he refuses to go near it. Should I take it out or will he accept it eventually? I want this transition to be as stress free as possible.
