My African grey spending a lot of time in the bottom of his cage and seems to struggle standing on one leg while eating
My 8month old alexandrine parakeet is losing his leg grip while climbing height
Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? What size cage? It would probably be out a lot because I am home most every day. Only gone on Fridays. I want a bird that can do almost everything with me and not too small. About a medium bird? Any recommend birds? I’ve never had a bird but I know a few people that have birds. Right food? (See pic) thx!
Is there a type of bird cage for parakeets. We have two that are in a basic counter top cage but I wanted to get a bigger one. I was told not to get one with dome top. Is this correct?
My small baby mocking bird was found injured in the garden last evenin , I found chameleons surroundin it but I somehow saved it, but one of its leg has turned black now and it was bleeding too, it's eating normally but it's in pain and the leg has turned black as well as its toes aren't working too. What should I do to first aid it at home , coz there is no nearby vet for treating birds
I'm looking to get this cage. The chart says it's good for two guinea pigs, which I have. In the comments a lot of people say their two guinea pigs were happy. But I just wanted to be sure. I'm thinking about getting this cage and then getting another later on to attach to it and expand it. What do you think? I'm stuck with a large rabbit cage and I know I need to get them something better so that's why I'm looking at this one.
Our 34 yr old amazon parrot is having issues with her feet. How would she be evaluated to check for arthritis. She is having a bit of trouble staying on her perches at times. She falls to the bottom of the cage but I also see her climb around her cage upside down quite often daily. Thanks for the help.
Greetings! Over a month a ago, I rescued a bird and have been nurturing it ever since. A representative at petco let me know that I can come here to ask about what type of bird t may be/ what I can feed it, because he did not know (I showed him pictures). Is this the right place to obtain information? Please let me know. Thank you. (I have attached photos of when the bird was small to today).
Angie had layed eggs and I don’t know what to do. There is a male bird with her in the cage also and he’s always going in the nesting box while she is incubating.
I recently moved and had to Place Most of my cats at a Sanctuary! It's on 5acres out west! I originally had them in a 10x10 enclosure! But it's so Hot she has window open and door! Most of my cats got out, but two are still inside! Even the ones that got out have bite marks or open wounds on them now!, They were all Indoor cats, I'm worried, is it spiders or rats or racoon's?
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)
I've got a few questions. First my two birds are having a hard time bonding with me how do I fix that? Second I think my hamster needs a bigger cage, picture below, 3rd my leopard gecko has a heating Rock does that mean I can leave his light off during the night? How often should I clean out my bunnies litter box? My birds are starting to pluck their feathers due to boredom we're getting toy soon but how do I keep it from becoming a Habit in the meantime? Thanks!
