Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.

Aquiline is an inside cat although we try to have supervise outdoor leashtime we have found that his mesh harness what does what we were originally recommended stretches too much and he can rather easily slip out of it and get free he did this yesterday on our way back from the pet store to get him new toys. I put my Italian Greyhound in his cage for the first time and only left for 30 mins. When I got back, he had pulled the blanket I partially covered it with through about 8 of the holes in the cage. As I was holding him after I let him out, I noticed that he has a large lump on the top of his snout. I touched it and it didn't seem to bother him. I don't know if it was from him. pushing his nose through the cage, but it has me very worried.

we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
I am going to visit family for a week and I have to take my bird with me. I saw online that it helps to get him used to the cage for awhile before trying to travel with him. I didn't know I should do that until now. It's only an hour away but I want him to be safe. Should I try to get him in a travel cage (which will be a challenge bc I don't think he would trust me enough to pick him up other than by perching) or use his regular cage? Any other ideas? I know to not have loose toys in the cage.
Hi there, I am coming up soon on a long distance move, and am bringing my bird Scout with me. I have already purchased a travel carrier and am planning on keeping her with me for most of the trip. I have read a few tips online on how to keep her safe and cozy, but I was hoping that I could get a few more tips on how to make sure she stays relaxed and happy. She does tend to enjoy looking around and seeing the outside, but I was hoping to get expert advice on how to do this successfully. Thanks!
I'm having trouble trying to find the proper enclosure for my dog. She seems to be having separation anxiety and she already destroyed a part of my door after only being alone for 2 hours. I'm gone for work for about 9 hrs a day so I don't want something where she wouldn't be able to move comfortably..what should I do?
