Is there a type of bird cage for parakeets. We have two that are in a basic counter top cage but I wanted to get a bigger one. I was told not to get one with dome top. Is this correct?
Can I take a shower with a Amazon Parrot? What temperature range water is safe? Do I need to give them a cuttle cone? What to chew one? How often do I have to take them for beak/wing/nail trim? What size cage? It would probably be out a lot because I am home most every day. Only gone on Fridays. I want a bird that can do almost everything with me and not too small. About a medium bird? What types of frying pans, cookware, etc., can you cook in, that is safe for a Canary. Stove is about 10 feet away on one side, and Vent with food odors, is about 6 - 7 feet away.
Our 34 yr old amazon parrot is having issues with her feet. How would she be evaluated to check for arthritis. She is having a bit of trouble staying on her perches at times.
